Anna Rubio Galindo, 22, of Midland, Texas, has died following a two-vehicle collision in Midland on Wednesday evening, September 30, 2026, leaving family members, friends and loved ones mourning her unexpected passing.
The Midland Police Department said officers were called to the area of Front Street and Fairgrounds Road at about 6:35 p.m. after a crash was reported west of the intersection.
How the Midland Crash Happened
Police said the collision involved a 2005 Honda Accord and a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
According to investigators, the Jeep was traveling westbound in the inside lane of Front Street when the Honda Accord exited a private driveway. The Honda entered the roadway and moved into the path of the approaching Jeep.
The Jeep struck the driver’s side of the Honda. The impact caused fatal injuries to the driver, later identified by authorities as Anna Rubio Galindo.
Her next of kin was notified following the crash.
