Brandon Joe McCoy, 37, died early Friday, October 2, 2026, after deputies found him unresponsive inside a cell at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center in Macon, Georgia.
According to authorities, deputies discovered McCoy at approximately 12:28 a.m. They immediately began emergency lifesaving efforts and requested medical assistance, but those efforts were unsuccessful.
McCoy was pronounced dead at the law enforcement center by Deputy Bibb County Coroner Lonnie Miley.
